I have been in hosting for a lot of years, more than 10 in total. Our site and old domain was my first ever venture into hosting, it seemed that if I could offer it for free and everyone appeared happy then charging for it would be easy.
Nobody is using it and the bottom line is that we are paying money out for something people are telling me they have no interest in by not using it. The annual subscription is due tomorrow and I am not renewing it. As you may have seen we are trialling Trendy Site Builder. Have a look for it in your cPanel and give it a go. This is not available to VPS members, get your own licence, it's only $6 a month.

I have just had an email from one of our customers (Stevo) asking if we have paid for the vbulletin software. Um, yes we have, fee2host does not mean we obtain everything free or nulled oe downloaded from the Pirate Bay. We are above reproach
Now OpenVZ does a get a really bad rep out there in the paid world never mind free. Overselling of ram and a complete mis-understadning of Privvmpages (burst ram) mean it does get a hard time. That said most hosts will still use it as its got an extremely low overhead And to be honest it just does the job well.
